In development

Recreation.gov tells you it’s open.
We tell you if it’s worth the drive.

One standing order watches the permit, the forecast, the air quality and the live drive time — and only tells you when all of it lines up.

Right now that’s four tabs and a guess

A site opens up. Is the smoke clearing by Saturday? Is it three hours or five with traffic? By the time you’ve checked, it’s gone — and the trips you do take are the ones you guessed right on.

What an alert actually looks like

Every line names where it came from and when. That last one is the point — see below.

When we don’t know, we say so

Alert tools tend to ping you and hope. Ours can’t: a source we couldn’t read is never reported as availability. It’s built into the type system, not a policy we intend to follow.

You’ll sometimes get “three of four conditions met, air quality unreadable, here’s the link”. That’s not the product failing. That’s the product refusing to make something up.

It doesn’t expire

Watches run until you cancel or confirm a booking — never on a date. Cancellations and re-releases are exactly what it’s for.

One household, one account

Shared watches with roles, so you’re not forwarding screenshots to each other.

Official sources only

What it will cost

Personal
$9 / month
  • 5 standing orders
  • One person
  • Email and push alerts
Household
$19 / month
  • 20 standing orders
  • Up to 5 members, with roles
  • Shared watches and history

Free trial while you set up your first watch. No permanent free tier — every watch costs us real money to run, and we’d rather charge honestly than throttle you quietly.

Want it when it’s ready?

Leave an email. You’ll hear from us when it works, and not otherwise.

Being straight with you

This isn’t built yet. We’re putting up a price before writing the code because if nobody wants this at $9, we’d rather find out now than after six months. No spam, no selling your address, one email when there’s something real to show you.
